[Fixed] Apple FaceTime Bug | Allow anyone to hear remotely without answering…
[UPDATE] Apple fixes FaceTime drop with new software update. It has been said “We have fixed the Group FaceTime security bug on Apple’s servers and we will issue a software update to re-enable the feature for users next week.”
There’s a serious bug in Apple FaceTime video call feature. You can listen other person voice without him/her answer the calls.
All you need to do :-
It should be having two iPhones running 12.1.2. You begin calling somebody via FaceTime Video from within the Phone app. Before that person picks up, you can swipe up to add your own phone number to the call. Once you’ve added yourself, FaceTime immediately seems to assume it’s an active conference call and begins sending the audio of the person you’re calling, even though they haven’t yet picked up.
The bug seems to exploit Group FaceTime, a feature Apple added in iOS 12 last year to allow for multiple people to FaceTime together. When tried on an iPhone running iOS 11.3, which doesn’t have Group FaceTime support, the bug did not work.
The best defence is to turn off FaceTime by going into settings and toggling the switch for it there. Apple going to fix this in next week update.
